His task is made impossible due to the fact that he is not the only person chasing the disease. He must deal with a gang of terrorists headed by Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott), a former IMF agent gone bad, who already holds the cure. In order to infiltrate Ambrose and his crew, Hunt must enlist the help of Nyah Nordoff-Hall (Thandie Newton), a professional thief who can get him close enough to Ambrose.
