Stream Movies in HD - Free TrialFull Metal Jacket follows Private J.T. ‘Joker’ Davis (Matthew Modine), Private Cowboy (Arliss Howard) and Private Leonard ‘Gomer Pyle’ Lawrence (Vincent D’Onofrio) as they endure the rigours of basic training under the watchful eye of their austere drill sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant Hartman (R. Lee Ermey). All three graduate, though during their final night before leaving Parris Island, Pyle commits suicide. Joker is sent to Vietnam, where he works as a war correspondent for Stars and Stripes, while Cowboy serves in the infantry with the Lusthog Squad. The two friends eventually meet and participate in the Battle of Hué.
