Lee (Bruce Lee) has been recruited by an agency to investigate the tournament as they believe that the host, Han (Kien Shih), is trading opium from his fortified island. Roper (John Saxon) and Williams (Jim Kelly) are Lee’s former army buddies and they enter the tournament for their own reasons. Roper is on the run from the Mafia due to his gambling debts, while Williams is on the run from the police. Once on the island, the three friends soon discover that there is no escape.
