Thirty years later, foul-mouthed Ted is still John’s best friend, much to the annoyance of John’s girlfriend, Lori Collins (Mila Kunis). After John is given an ultimatum – Lori or Ted – he must do the right thing and realise that an adult shouldn’t be hanging around with a pot smoking soft toy. Meanwhile, Donny (Giovanni Ribisi), a slightly disturbed single father, used to be a huge fan of Ted when he was a little boy and he wants him for his son, Robert (Aedin Mincks), no matter what he has to do to get him.
