However, Ming (Koe Shern), a high school student, is indifferent towards the changes. All he cares about is spending idyllic afternoons with Mei Ann (Joey Leong), his childhood friend who he secretly loves. Meanwhile. Ming’s history teacher, Ms. Lim (Chih-ying Chu), has started an activist group to protest against the construction. She recruits her favourite student, Hui Ling (Daphne Low), to join her, but their idealism is soon tested. As the build goes on, they are all drawn into a chain of events that will change their lives forever.
