After his brother, Francois (Ash Adams), is badly beaten and set on fire, Gaultier deserts from the Legion and travels to America hoping to see him before he dies. He arrives to find his brother dead and his widowed sister-in-law, Helene (Lisa Pelikan), with unpaid medical bills and rent arrears. To get the money that’s needed to help Helene and his niece, Nicole (Ashley Johnson), he becomes an underground street fighter, thanks to his new friend and business partner, Joshau (Harrison Page).
