They develop high-tech equipment capable of capturing ghosts and open their business in a disused, run-down fire station. Their business booms after initial scepticism and they eventually require a fourth Ghostbuster, Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson). However, when an uptown apartment building becomes the focal point of spirit activity linked to an ancient god, it threatens to overwhelm the team and the entire world.
