Venco is killed and Roberts attends the funeral where he meets Alexa Campos (Carol Campbell), an associate of the doctor. They begin a relationship, though it is soon stopped by local thugs and military police who are all after the reporter. Roberts soon discovers that Venco was producing drugs with the Russian Mafia and that he and Alexa must get out of Bulgaria quickly.
