When Buck’s mother unexpectedly dies, he invites Chuck to the funeral as he feels that he needs to reconnect with his old friend. Buck who has sexual feelings for Chuck makes a pass at his friend, but is rebuffed. Chuck returns to Los Angeles, though he is followed by Buck. The two eventually meet in Los Angeles but their relationship is soon tested as Buck is resentful towards Chuck’s wife, Carlyn (Beth Colt), friends and life.
