He finds himself stuck in the middle of a turf war between two rival gangs, one headed by Fat Sam Staccetto (John Cassisi), boss of the Grand Slam speakeasy; the other by Dandy Dan (Martin Lev), a shady, pencil-moustached character. The gangs kill each other with rapid-fire custard-shooting ‘splurge guns’ and drive around in pedal-powered cars. Meanwhile, Bugsy has to deal with Tallulah (Jodie Foster), an old flame, who is Fat Sam’s moll.
