Carrington, now a pilot, flies Countess Maria de Fresca (Micheline Cheirel) to Death Valley along with a few others, where she plans to sell the map. Carrington is baffled as the map changes hands faster than he can think. Murders ensue as different people vie to get their hands on the valuable document.
